Welcome to The Friends of Belper River Gardens website

The Friends of Belper River Gardens is a voluntary non profit making group formed to assist the regeneration of the gardens.    The group also organise and run special events where possible and help with the maintenance.   We are always seeking new members, if you are interested please contact our Chairman Trevor Griffin on 01773 821920.

We hold regular working parties each month between 10am and noon from spring to autumn. Everybody welcome. First dates for 2012 are Sat 19th May, Sat 16th June. Further details from Trevor above.

Larks in the Park Concerts are organised by Belper Town Concil on most Sundays from the beginning of June to the end of  August in the River Gardens. The first of these on Sunday 3rd June will celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Belper Musical Theatre, Derwent Brass and the Dalesmen Choir will participate in a free concert from 2pm - 5pm.
